Architectural & Design Specifications Sales position
Benchmark Recruiting a national search firm working on an A&D manufacturer’s sales rep position covering the Eastern PA, South Jersey and Upstate New York regions. This Architectural & Design Specifications Sales position is to be based out of the Philly area. This company manufacturers products that are used in the commercial interiors arena including office furniture, cabinetry, millwork, countertops, flooring and other related commercial markets. They will be responsible for driving sales in these regions. This position will call on Architects, Designers, Specifiers, Major End-Users and Facility Managers. This person will be responsible for driving the specifications in their region. This person must have experience building and managing a territory along with finding and uncovering new business. Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Requirements
2+ years of A&D / Specifications sales experience. They want someone who has called on A&D firms in that territory.
Experience working with A&D on Design Build, Store Fixture (Tenant fit-out) and Office Furniture Businesses, Commercial Interiors Industry.
Experience delivering presentations to industry related groups…presenting color and design aspects of products.
Book of A&D contacts in that region.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to handle overnight travel….4–6 nights/month.
Must be driven and a self starter.
Interior Design background and education required
Must be able to lift and carry binders/samples…approx. 30 pounds.
Competitive salary plus bonuses & car allowance plus gas card.
Interior Design / Architecture Degree Required
